HAVE QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS. PROBABLY.

Who owns my personal information on Myne?

You do. If you decide to cancel your account, all of your personal data and artifacts (pictures, documents, etc) will be permanently removed from the Myne database.

What Does Myne do with My Data?

The first thing we do with your data is "anonymize" it—we strip all personally identifiable information from it, including your name/nickname and email address.

Second, we aggregate that anonymous data according to demographic indicators—age, gender, location, etc—and analyze it for interesting insights about humanity.

Last, we sell segments of anonymous, aggregate data to entities interested in those data. Because that data is anonymous and aggregated, it is impossible to trace the data back to a particular individual.

Does Myne sell my data to outside parties?

Not now, but eventually. (We need to stay in business.) Data that someday we sell will be stripped of all personally identifiable information.

How does Myne store my data?

Your data is stored with Amazon's cloud, which is protected by a robust range of security measures designed to protect extremely sensitive information (like financial and health records) and which complies with all federal laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal data.
